The Class Rules
Hull
Shall only be as supplied by the manufacturer.
Deck
As supplied by the manufacturer or own flat sheet deck which can be customised with planking or plastic covering.
Servos
For sail and rudder control any servo can be used. Sail control servo shall have an extended arm fitted. Drum winches are not permitted.
Fin and rudder
Only as supplied by the manufacturer, both may be re-shaped to an aerofoil section if desired.
Fin depth measured from lowest point of hull to bottom of lead bulb 220mm maximum.
Lead bulb
As supplied by the manufacturer.
Rigging, sheeting and deck eyes
As supplied by the manufacturer or own preference.
Kicking strap
As supplied by any manufacturer or to own make.
Booms
Jib boom as supplied in kit maximum length 255mm , any counter balance weight to be within this lenght, the boom shall not project beyond the bow.
Main boom as supplied in the kit maximum length 250mm.
Mast
As supplied by the manufacturer.
Sails
As supplied by the manufacturer. Sails to carry boat number on jib and or mainsail, uppermost number to be on starboard side, from 2006 these must be minimum 50mm in height and black. The F logo at top of mainsail pre-determined placement by template supplied in kit.
